I have had a very busy month since we got back from Kenya, so I have   only now had the time to email you to thank you for arranging our safari in June/July.  As I mentioned to you at then end of the safari, there was
nothing that was not to our satisfaction and Patricia and I were very impressed with Pori Tours & Travels level of service.

Booking and Payments
--------------------
I found this to be very easy and straightforward, with all our  questions answered quickly by email.  However, payment by bank transfer is a  little cumbersome and does not offer the security (to the payer) that a credit
card does, and I think that you should look at other methods of payment such  as PayPal etc.

Four Day Safari From Mombasa
----------------------------
Before our journey we had a some minor reservations about the travel distances between Mombasa, Tsavo West, Amboseli and Taita Hills, but in reality the travel between the national parks was just as interesting
as the parks themselves, with much to see as we passed through the towns and
villages, so that the journey times passed quickly.  The only strenuous  part of the journey was the very rough road between Oloitokitok and Taveta,  a distance af around 40 miles (65 Km), which took as 2 hours.  However,  there was no other more convenient route, in terms of time and distance, to  get between Amboseli and Taita Hills and as compensation we did have  Kilimanjaro in view all the way!

Of course, the wildlife in the national parks was all that we had hoped  for and, as you have seen from the photographs that I sent you, we saw  almost all the animals we had wanted to see and many more, such as the two leopards, that we did not think think we would see!  In fact, as I mentioned, my family and I lived in Kenya when I was young and both my mother and father have told me that in seven years, despite many visits
to the national parks, they never saw a leopard.

Safari Driver/Guide
-------------------
I think that any safari stands or falls on the strength of the guide!  Yahya Ahmed was one-of-the-best; his wildlife knowledge was outstanding and  there was not a single question that he could not answer.  Yahya\'s standard  of driving was superb and we felt very safe at all times; as I mentioned
to you at one point an elephant charged us, not due to anything that Yahya had  done. I might add, but he handled the situation very well and we felt in no  danger at all.  Yahya\'s little touches were most appreciated such as cleaning  the safari tourer, inside and out, twice a day, and I would be grateful if  you could pass on our appreciate to him.

Safari Lodges
-------------
The lodges which you suggested for us were really excellent; we had wonderful rooms and the standard of food was top class. Best regards,
