Itinerary
NOTE/ Clients who choose to stay in Rwanda for more days at the end of their safari are free to do so. We can arrange hotel accommodation for your extended stay. Should you wish to spend more time exploring Rwanda, Congo, Burundi, Uganda, Kenya or Tanzania, we can arrange further safaris and city tours to meet your requirements.

Day 1:
Visit the genocide memorial museum. Lunch in a small garden. Follow the road as it climbs to the base of the majestic volcanoes, with spectacular views across the five peaks. Arrive at Kinigi for overnight. Diner notincluded. If arriving in the afternoon, after meeting at the airport, drive directly to Kinigi. Overnight: Kinigi Guest House.
Day 2:
Mountain Gorillas. As the first light of dawn breaks through the curtain of mist clinging to the summits of Karisimbi, Bisoke, Sabyniyo, Gahinga and Muhabura, we make our way into the Parc National des Volcans. Tracking the gorillas through the unique vegetation can take several hours of challenging walking in wet and muddy conditions. To see a gorilla, the trek will have been worth the hardship. Have lunch at the guest house and drive back to Kigali. Diner not included. Overnight: Kinigi Guest House.
Day 3: Lake Kivu-departure. Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, Nairobi.
Gorilla Rules: Eco-tourism is nature-based tourism that meets conservation objectives. Gorilla tourism depends largely on the conservation of these magnificent animals. Some rules have been developed to protect the gorillas and the park rangers will brief you before the trekking. Please respect them.
