WELCOME TO EASTAFRICA
For centuries, this vibrant continent of Africa
has captured the imagination of travelers, adventure-seekers and daydreamers
from the furthest-flung corners of the world. Thus it is a land of
dramatic & awe-inspiring contrasts which affords any visitor an
unforgettable experience. Be it the heart-stopping drama of watching
thousands of wild-beast struggle their way across a raging river;
the breathtaking spectre of an acacia tree silhouetted against a blazing
African sunset, or the simple joy of observing tribesmen living in
harmony with nature, Africa comprises a return to life's most fundamental
beauty.
WHY EAST AFRICA?
Throughout the entire world, East Africa has the
largest tracts of land given over to nature conservation; yet, it
remains the least touched of the five major safari destinations, hosting
the fewest visitors.
East Africa has the highest mountain on the continent-the
spectacular Mt. Kilimanjaro. It also hosts three of Africa's largest
lakes, the biggest being Lake Victoria and the deepest, the beautiful
Lake Tanganyika. This area also boasts the most famous national parks
on the planet, you will encounter friendly faces and experience African
warmth and hospitality while your adventure takes you across the famed
Serengeti, the Ngorogoro crater, Amboseli, Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro,
the Rift Valley, Lake Nakuru, Bwindi forest and Murchison falls among
others.
Almost a third of East Africa is given over to
the protection of as much as 20% of Africa's largest mammals. If you
want to experience the big five, this is your destination.
The regional hub for trade and finance, equatorial
Kenya has five neighbours and three major water bodies - the Indian
Ocean, Lake Victoria and Lake Turkana. Kenya’s cultural mosaic
is Africa in miniature, with almost every main African tongue spoken
and over forty distinct ethnic groups. Kenya is one Africa’s
most diverse travel destinations: watch a lion-kill in the true African
wilderness, drift over coral reefs in a glass-bottomed boat off tropical
Mombasa, take off on an elegant balloon safari over the Masai Mara,
visit the nomadic, ochre-clad Maasai, gaze at the breathtaking views
of snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro or watch pink flamingos rise over
the rift valley soda lakes all in one day.
Be one of the few who witness the mid-year spectacle
of over two million herbivores thundering through the Serengeti to
the sweet grass of the unfenced Masai Mara, the richest wildlife sanctuary
in Kenya.

of the central highland country & dry burning heat of the northern

cold. With long sun filled days, it is an almost perfect climate.
