After returning to sea level, a ferry ride across Table Bay to Robben Island, a World Heritage Site, awaits you. Take time to look back at Table Mountain on the way. The fascinating history of the island unfolds during a guided tour and the struggles of South Africa’s freedom fighters come alive as you view the infamous prison and the cell in which Nelson Mandela was confined for 27 years. Day 3: At home on safari
South Africa safari just wouldn’t be complete without opportunities to view Africa’s fascinating wildlife in an up-close-and-personal way that you are about to enjoy at one of South Africa’s finest private game reserves located within Kruger National Park.
