Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Kigali
Pick up from the Kigali International air port and transfer you to Ruhengeri. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House
Day 2: Gorilla tracking in Rwanda
A quick breakfast before heading to park headquarters where you will be briefed about your visit to the great primates. This will be a thrilling and outstanding experience, after setting off for the trekking into the rain tropical forest covering the hills surrounding Virunga Volcanoes. You may have an optional community walk or relaxation at the hotel. Overnight at Gorilla Nest Lodge/La Palme Hotel/Kinigi Guest House
Day 3: Kigali City Tour and canoe ride on Lake Kivu
In the morning, you will head to Gisenyi on the shores of Lake Kivu. Gisenyi is a resort town and there’s a variety of water sports available. On your arrival, have a city tour while visiting the local markets. After lunch, you will carry out a canoe ride. Overnight at Lake Kivu Serena Hotel.
Day 4: Transfer to Kigali
After a relaxed breakfast, depart to Kigali for a city tour. This will include the Amahoro Stadium, market visits, handicraft shop visits, pottery projects, and the Genocide Memorial Museum. Overnight at Stipp Hotel/Chez Lando Hotel/Okapi Hotel
Day 5: Departure
Transfer to the airport to find your departure flight.
