Day 1 - Lamu

A scheduled flight takes you to Manda Island where a dhow transfer takes you across the waterway to Lamu Island. Lamu is one of Kenya’s oldest towns and a perfect place to both expolore historical ruins and relax on scheduled beaches. The afternoon is at leisure.

Overnight at beach hotel.

Day 2 - Lamu

A full day at leisure to explore the island. Little has changed in Lamu in the last century. Be sure to stop at one of Lamus 20 mosques to admire the ornate and intricate woodwork. Good shopping includes local baskets and mats.

Day 3 - Lamu Depart

A dhow transfer takes you back Manda Island for the return flight to Mombasa or Nairobi.
